# The Earth Code

> The Earth Code by Nikola Mivet sets out a distinct conception of Planetarism in 326 principles.

Planetarism. A new model for human civilization. 326 principles on how to organize the human world so that people can live well, the Earth remains alive, and future generations still have a future of their own.

This is the official website. The English interface is at the root; Russian, Simplified Chinese and Spanish are at /ru/, /zh/ and /es/. The language code for Spanish is es, and for Simplified Chinese it is zh-Hans.

All four editions have the same principle numbering. The introduction, the complete Code and the author’s note are separate pages. Individual principles have stable links, for example https://earth-code.org/code/#principle-158.

The author’s introduction distinguishes this conception of Planetarism from those of Ele Alenius, Stefan Pedersen and others. The term “Planetarism” existed before the Earth Code. Ele Alenius, Stefan Pedersen, and others have developed their own conceptions of Planetarism. Pedersen’s approach differs from Alenius’s, and the Planetarism that I, Nikola Mivet, set out in the Earth Code is a distinct conception in its own right.
